Yah I did, I was hoping they might be a bit better than standard wedge ones but better late than trevor.

Oh I wasn't sure, my friend saw them the day before and apparently they did an encore which was a remix of Bathroom Gurgle.

no encore yesterday at brighton, just the usual set with the bathroom gurgle remix, space and the woods intro etc, except for they played blueberry after bears are coming.

thought they were fucking brilliant, just a few complaints

- i don't really like the new t-shirts
- the broken solo was way too quiet and underwhelming

though neither of these were their fault probably.

Saw them in Cambridge last night.
The crowd spoilt the gig a bit,Cambridge crowds are
always full of complete tossers.

Anywho,I thought LOTP were bloody good, not as theatrical
as I expected them to be and a lack of any form of encore was
a bit of a weak effort.just pull a cover out of the bag and a remix.

Still a brilliant gig and a fantastic show, sound quality was almost 10/10,didn't have any vinyl for me to buy though.

I don't think it's just Cambridge, all of their gigs this tour seem to be spoiled a little bit by wankers in the crowd which is a shame. They should somehow create an anti-wanker shield.

A human shield, ironically composed entirely of wankers?

I was thinking something a bit more Star Wars, but that is more plausible, and irony is also funnier.

It was the same when I saw Blood Red Shoes in Cambridge.
They even complained about the crowd after the gig.
Blood Red Shoes weren't that good,These New Puritans totally and utterly stole the show.

i went to the hitchin gig, no 'chav' wankers, just SO many hipsters that knew a few songs and looked disinterested and were just there so they could say they'd been.

not to mention the number of people stood at the back with their arms crossed and a scowl across their face. it's no wonder why they call toronto the screwface capital.

urggggggggghhhh

so many people like that! i was doing photos for the portsmouth gig and i couldn't help myself, at the end of bathroom gurgle i just put my camera under the thing and ran out into the crowd to mosh but NO-ONE WAS MOVING. just standing there tightly stuck together looking miserable. So i danced. by myself. at the back. ._.

I just understand why people mosh or fling themselves about the place.
Nobody seems to actually dance anymore.
*sigh*

I don't like that for the sake of it. But sometimes the best music is the music that makes you GENUINELY go batshit crazy and throw yourself around. I don't think most people get that though.

yeah, see, i don't do it for everyone. i only get consumed like that when seeing lotp or watp. i do genuinely dance when i am out and make shapes and POP like potter and i did actually DANCE a little bit to bathroom gurgle... then threw myself about
