To celebrate the fact I finally added
to the emoticon list, I want
you to make some emoticons for here.
This is because I can't be bothered to do so myself.
They need to be black and white, have a transparent background and a white border. They also need to be under 10kb and saved as a gif, png or jpg. And roughly the same dimensions as the existing smileys. Basically, in the same style as those that are already around (click view more emoticons if you don't realise they exist!)
If you can't do all of these but can do the basics of an emoticon post them here and I should be able to clean up the file size or transparentenise it (yes that is a word) or what have you.
They also obvz have to be LOTP themed. This could be anything from the band members pulling hilarious expressions to stuff in the
Late Of The Pier Expanded Universe, like an Erol emoticon or Micachu or something or other, be creative and think of something awesome as I clearly can't.
WHY SHOULD I DO THIS???
One: not much is going on in this here forum recently and it needs a kiss of life so to speak. And collaborative shizzz is always fun! I'll personally pay everyone ONE US DOLLAR for every smiley they make via Paypal*
(*I won't actually do this. In fact I'm ridiculously poor right now, maybe you can pay me a dollar?)
Two: I don't like the other emoticons and want to get rid of them.
HOWEVER!!!
For the sake of consistency could we try and get them similar to the existing ones so we can use the same filepath, such as smiley faces, sunglasses, confused etc. We already have one for surprise
& yes, they can be animated so long as it fits the filesize otherwise I won't be able to upload it.
(This is less important though as if it looks awesome I'll put it in anyway)
So yeah get cracking!
Post them here when they're done!
Hopefully this thread won't fall completely on its arse and we'll get some stuff here! YEAH!
