That article talks about a band at Radio Room. It's a different place.
LOTP played at Cedar Street Courtyard when they got into the scuffle. But yeah, they really did play at a SHITTY place... normally that place is full of snobs and unheard of jazz type music. SXSW totally changes Austin for a week... every place, every bar, everything opens up as a venue and hosts a ton of bands they normally wouldn't.
Great to see that shit from a classic front man like LOTP has. This band is for real and will be around for a very long time.I hope they come back to Orlando or Tampa Bay Florida soon. What a awsome SXSW gig, thanks to the Direct TV for showing it..

alright TampaTony
sorry it took me so long to reply (i've had exams all week... eeek!)
but anyway,
i've done an extensive amount of research, and it would appear that if you aren't an incredibly tech-savvy person (which i definitely am not...)
then this might not work......... T___T
but it all depends on the DVR you have, if you could tell me what type you have that would be a great help because some dvrs have a USB and can connect right to the computer, some have a video cable but need special software for you computer to be able to read it. etc...
(my heads spinning, i don't know anything about anything electronic. haha)
but here's the website i've been finding info on anyway.

if you can tell me what dvr you have that would be lovely, and i'll keep looking cause i REALLY want to watch it.!!
thanks!
(and if anyone else on this forum has more of a clue than i do and can help i would REALLYREALLY appreciate it, cause it really was a lovely gig!)
x
You are in luck i think. My DVR has a USB port!!!But on the back of the dvr it says manufactured under license from Dolby laboratories and Macrovision, but im not sure about that..Keep up the research and will get it done.

Alright!
yes! you have a USB port, (a very good sign)
if you use a USB cable and connect it straight up to your computer then it should act just like a hard drive and you can easily copy it to your computer.
however, on the off chance that that doesn't work, then you might need a special download for your computer to read the material.
if you don't mind trying and seeing if it will work if you connect it to your computer, that would be really really really nice!
(if it doesn't work just tell me and i'll figure out what download is needed, etc.)
thanks!!!!!!! !!!!! !!! !!!!!! !!
(i honestly cannot express how thankful i am, even if it won't work, the fact that you offered to help has made me insanely happy) xx
