oh and read this in a recent interview with ross

http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/crossfad ... _of_th.php

How is your sound evolving on those new songs?

I'm actually really pleased with the way it's evolving. We're only doing five more songs, I'd say it's a lot more linear-sounding, but just as innovative. The way we constructed songs when we did the record was, we did it by sections, and they didn't stick to traditional song structures. And this time it's more like verse-chorus. I think the older fans might appreciate it more, because it's a bit more flowing and not as schizophrenic.

They mean the Dance on Glass DJ set, which is where that summer mix is from.

They deserve a break!

Pink Stallone are awesome btw, hurrah for 20jfg for bringing them to my attention! (unless it wasn't 20jfg, it may have been Waves At Night, oh god how will I ever know??)

i guess i had my hopes on them making another album and then touring on it early next year.
but this makes it sound like instead they are just going to focus on their label and putting out other people's things.
which makes me sad. they may have been playing a ton of gigs in europe, but we just got to start hearing and seeing them over here.

It had better be the start of next year, don't let them delay it by another year D:<

No, it's okay, I think they're allowed to take their time as much as I miss LOTP. We want them to do it right after all!

that was in 2008, yes. meaning the start of next year was the start of 2009
