Get to my age, and birthdays are not something you particularly want to celebrate any more...

*hug*lol!

I don't like being taken more seriously each year... I mean, in the science department it's fine, but I'm not dr phil (okay, I am. hush!) - I don't get why people'd ask me for advice on their personal stuff..

Oh, and I'm allowed to vote now, so I received this weird letter the other day from "Waterland Twente(the area I live in)" in which they asked me to vote on the way groundwater is treated in Eastern Dutchland. And I have no idea what to vote on. But my parents do force me to vote. :uhoh:

As someone who was never legally ALLOWED to vote for most of my life...

(I never became a citizen, the whole time I lived in the States, so I couldn't vote. You know, "no taxation without representation" - bah! I should have refused to pay taxes if I couldn't get a say in how they were spent.)

So now it's like, REALLY EXCITING for me when I get to vote.

That's pretty fucked up!

But here's something that must be very comforting to you: I'm not allowed to vote in the US either :o
Only in this tiny piece of land right here, that will probably drown over the next couple of centuries. WE'RE GOING TO BE LIKE ATLANTIS!!!

Oh, and our shitty government wants to ban coffeeshops. There goes my fav pastime... omglol.
