Just thought I'd start a topic for synth tabs and what effects/waves you use to get the LOTP crunch, remember sharing is caring.
Please direct me elsewhere if there is already a topic..
But I'll get us started with an easy one :) :

VW
As far as I know the bassline is a little more complex then what my band play in our cover, but I pretty much play as follows:
During the verse:
D# B g# f
During the Chorus:
D#--- B F# D# D# D--
G-- B-- D#-- C--
D#--- B F# D# D# F# D# D
G-- B-- D#-- C--

Please spread the wealth if you've got anything hidden anywhere :)
In all honesty I have been trying to figure out Focker for ages but am too retarded.

As far as I know this is the SATW Main Bassline:
EEEEEEEE C#DC#a C#DC#a aGG

Where lower case represents lower octave.

I would put all best in the class synth notes and settings, however I think I'll wait until I record it with my mate soon, maybe tomorrow :D

and then I'll spill

Youtube synth tutorial for Heartbeat:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdSu665hZ6o

Couldn't work the song out when I was trying to, one day I played a chord on the right preset and thought "oooooo that sounds like Hartbeat"

=D

Oh and I have the notes for Focker, no video tutorial yet, try to get a nice screechy sound, so far I've only got a sound resembling it, maybe the microKORG isn't powerful enough for it...

B----------------------------
F#, B, F#, A, F#, C#, F#, D, F#, A, F#, B, F#
D, F#, C#, F#, D, F#, E, F#, D, F#, ^F#, F#
F#, B, F#, A, F#, C#, F#, D, F#, A, F#, B, F#
D, F#, C#, F# D, F#, E, F#, ^F#

Verse:
B, E, E, D
Play it low down, with a fuzzy sound.

And the chords for the first chorus are
Em A Bm
I wanna be your frieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeend oh yeah
Em(lower) A Bm
I wanna be your frieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeend

Then play the intro again, and after that the whole song shifts key, and I need to figure that out still, I'll post when I do.

Outro:
Always jump octaves.
E, G, E, G, E, B, C, A

Enjoy! I'll post a Youtube tutorial once I've sussed the second verse and chorus =D
