today my friend's sister came into the house with a pair of flippers. i was impressed.
also today i went to schuh on oxford street because i heard there was a mobile disco.
there was no mobile disco.
this got me thinking:
why don't all shops have dance floors? i like nothing more than to boogie around a shop and can think of no sensible reason why NOT to encourage this. i think dancing is the best thing in the world, what with simultaneously being the most fun you can ever have and also completely free of charge.
maybe once people felt so good about spending no money and having so much fun, they'd be willing to part with their pennies
those silver shoes are (D)AWESOME. I love them. Back in the old days, when I was young, and dinosaurs ruled the earth, there were no silver shoes - my mate had to spray paint a pair of doc martens. They looked AMAZING.
I seem to have lost my bloody camera (I'm sure it's in this flat somewhere... with my green card. And Lord Lucan. I just don't know where.) so here are some photobooth pics of my shoes.
I just bought new shoes for the first time in like SIX MONTHS last week because I finally got paid. My last ones had actually gone through and started LAUGHING at me.
I hate shoe shopping, though, I find it such a chore. My ex boyfriend used to laugh at me because I was the only girl he'd ever dated who could get down Neil Street (London shoe district) without getting distracted. Until he discovered I owned about 12 different pairs of Chelsea Boots.
Here they come now, see them run now, Chelsea Boots:
I don't want a pickle, just want to ride on my motorcickle. Boots.
I'm quite pleased I actually managed to get vegetarian motorcycle boots. I'd been looking for ages.

today i saw size 7 mens shopes and as i have size 7 feet, i ebgan wondering: is there a difference in men and women's size 7? would width be a problem? I DON'T KNOW!
In my experience, in UK sizes they're the same or about half a size out. I'm a size 8 in womens shoes, but can wear a size 7 and a half or 8 in mens.
But I tend to wear really thick socks with mens shoes so width isn't a problem.
(If anything, womens shoes are too narrow for me - and I really can't do heels. I'm already tall enough without help - plus I have such bad balance I can barely walk in bare feet, let alone any kind of stiletto.)
